Haunted Mansion

We’re pleased to announce our facial capture work for Disney’s ghostly comedy, Haunted Mansion. The second cinematic adaptation of Disneyland’s iconic ride, Haunted Mansion tells the story of a woman and her son as they attempt to rid their home of supernatural entities.

Among the long list of apparitions is Madame Leota, a phantom psychic played by Jamie Lee Curtis. Our facial capture technology was used to generate a VFX head of the actress inside a crystal ball. In addition, the same technology drove the facial animation for Jared Leto’s character, The Hatbox Ghost.
